Trouble adding videos to Itunes

Question

Trouble adding videos to Itunes

Occasionally when i try to add videos to itunes, nothing happens. All the files are in the correct format, but it just wont add them. I've tried dragging them to the video space, and using the add button, but neither works. Am i doing something wrong and does anyone know how i can fix this problem?

it might be that the file names are too long
try and shorten them, and then add them.
iTunes chokes on large file names.
--
if the file names arent long,
and this dosent work
then i do not know why they wont add.

First off, thanks shortening the file names worked for some. but others that ive reduced to one or two words and still wont add. Does anyone else have any idea why im having this problem??

so many people have this problem (including me)! still not working for me, with correct length and format...anyone found an answer yet?
