My iPhone 6 is randomly restarting, I lost all contacts and photos

My iPhone 6 has suddenly started randomly restarting itself. Sometimes I am in the middle of using it and other times it is just sitting there on my desk not being touched, and I'll look over and notice the white screen with the Apple logo come on. It continues to do this and I have now lost all of my contacts and photos. I honestly don't know when the last time I synced my phone was but it wasn't recently, either through iCloud or through iTunes. I went on a trip this past weekend and took photos that are very near and dear to me and they disappeared before I could put them on Facebook! I don't know what is going on. I recently deleted a bunch of apps to make more space on my phone (I was completely out). I also am having a hard time updating apps. I got stuck in this cycle where updating my apps would make my phone restart, and then I got asked to enter my Apple ID password a ridiculous number of times (I lost count after 10). I was also asked to sign back into Facebook, Gmail, my work email, basically anything that had a password stored on my phone. Please, if anyone knows how to fix this (preferably without restoring, I don't want to lose these photos and would do anything to save them!), then please let me know. If I could somehow get the pictures off of my phone and then restore, I would be open to that.

I have tried both simply turning my phone off and on again as well as resetting my phone (holding down the power and home buttons together for 5-10 seconds until the Apple logo comes back on). Neither did anything to help, I just got asked to enter my iCloud password another ridiculous number of times.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3, null

my daughter's iPhone 6 is having all the same problems as yours. Her iPhone is deleting her messages, shutting down unexpectedly and saying all space is used when most of her photos deleted. Did you get any help from Apple for this problem? Can you help us, do you have any suggestions? She is losing all of her messages unexpectedly and many are work related and important contacts. Thank you

Customer support actually told me I should try to delete snapchat if any steps you find online doesn't work.
Which I did, now my phone won't even start or reset.
The most I get to see is the apple logo or a loading screen.

Oh and they told me I lost my warranty like the day before I called them.
Can't even use that ****** watch since it pretty much doesn't do anything without an iphone.

Having the same issue. It deleted my photos. About a month ago it crashed and deleted all text messages and completely reset my phone as if it was a new phone. I deleted my music which was 1.6 gig cause there was no more room. And now my photos are gone. I haven't added any new apps and as a matter of fact I've deleted a couple more and my phone still shows no or very little capacity. I was using google maps the other day and it kept shutting off and asking for my password did it five times with in a 10 minute period. When I hook it up to my computer to update it says it has the latest update, and it's not the latest one. My phone will not update at all. I'm at 10.2. Also from the first crash it won't hold my tabs on safari. It's a mess to say the least.

My iPhone 6s has started to do the same thing, Ive also got very little storage so am constantly deleting apps and pictures. My phone restarted itself while I was using it the first time and when it came back on my all of my 2,000 photos had disappeared apart from 40. Since, 100 have synced back from iCloud I assume. I have a mac and all of my photos are still on there on iCloud just not on my phone :( I've tried syncing it and it hasn't worked. Anyway I wasn't too bothered by this because the photos are on my mac. But just now I was on my phone using iMessage and it's been bugging recently- one message received will keep coming down to where new ones would be and giving me notifications for that message. I tried just refreshing the messages app (by double tapping the home button and swiping it up) and then when I re-opened it all the contact names were still there with the last message sent but all previous messages had disappeard. Then stupidly refreshed it again and all of my messages logs just disappeard all together :(( this is upsetting as there were important and sentimental messages and photos on there :(

My iPod has been doing the same and I have tried everything. Even tried getting my pictures back but I couldn't because I haven't backed up since an year and neither have synced to itunes. My iPod doesn't turn on at all anymore, just shows the apple logo and I don't know what to do. My iPod has pictures I don't want to lose, is there any way at all to fix this problem without losing the data?

1) You said that there are no pictures on your phone anymore but try connecting your phone to your computer anyway just to see if they import or show up on File Explorer (on a PC) by any chance, little to lose at this point. If the pictures do not show up on your computer (which is likely), then,

2) try going to iCloud.com and see if they are there. If not they may well be gone.

IMO your phone is either badly corrupted or the hardware is on the blink. A restore would determine if it is system corruption. Otherwise you would have to take it to an Apple Store for hardware evaluation.
