Change to Apple ID email

After changing my email and password for apple ID I'm still getting requests for my old email to sign in to iCloud. How do I get everything in sync?

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), Mac OS X (10.6.7)

sign out from your icloud from settings.Then sign in with new ID
