Having problems installing iTunes

I recently purchased a Toshiba Satellite E45W-C4200X; Part: PSLZAU-00L00E. I'm trying to install iTunes for my new iPod, and I am getting a message that says "This App can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with software publisher"

I have 15 days to return this iPod and I don't want to do that because I have no other device to play music. Is there anyway I can download and use iTunes?
