Macbook Pro 13' Retina Froze up

I recently purchased my new macbook pro 13 inch retina (early 2015) and have always been an apple user. It's been working just fine until couples of days ago when my working screen started to freeze up, my mouse pad deactivated itself which had forced me to restart my macbook. This has been going on periodically, once a day for the past 2-3 days. This is my first time having this problem and just really don't know what's up. I'm not interested in paying another visit to the genius bar for the 4th time this year. Although, I was planning on doing my own diagnostic test. Any ideas how did this happen and what might be the cause?

Ps: I checked the fan and everything, it wasn't heating up while the whole thing took place.

Thanks in advance.

Glitches like that sometime just happen. Nothing you can do to preent.

- Try resetting the SMC and NVRAM/PRAM

- Boot to Recovery and repair the startup disk

- If you do not have a backup use disk utility to restore the internal disk to an external disk so you can try to recover data.

Then format the startup disk and do a fresh install of OSX
