Can I use ARD to control a PC via VNC?

Hi there,

I have read on the forum and also, found some information on Internet that if you install VNC (like RealVNC), you can then use ARD to control the Windows PC.

I have the ARD 3.8.5 on my Macbook Pro and Windows 10 Pro on a PC with RealVNC 5.3.1 setup. Both PC and Mac on the same LAN. But ARD always stuck at "verifying..." and not be able to connect.I have also allowed port 3283 on Windows machine.

Is the function no longer working or am I missing something here?
