setting up bigpond email on ipad

I have set up my bigpond email account on my new iPad but do not get any folders which I do on my hotmail account,, how do I set up to get the folders

iPad, iOS 4.3.3

Try to set up the folder on the web portal and then see if they carry over into the iPad

Did you add the account as Outlook.com account? According to the following video help, there are 2 account types (Outlook.com or Other) you can add to your iOS Mail app. Check what mailbox service you're on http://www.telstra.com/emailservercheck
