Activity App can change exercise time on Apple watch

When I go onto Activity app and scroll across to Exercise and Push down on the screen it defaults to Calories + and -, but does not allow me to change time from 30 mins to 45 or an hour. I have reset my watch last night and its still does not allow me to change the time.
