Q: My answer was edited by someone else

After an hour since my comment in one topic on Discussions was published I saw that text was edited ⏤ someone has apparently added a remark to my answer. Is there a possibility that someone (like the author of the thread or an Apple community manager) has edited my answer after I published it? If so, why? Someone could easily discredit an author of any comment.

Thank you for bringing that to the Bobfather's attention. Bobfather is not amused by their actions. If anytime the Bobfather is able to help you, you should let him know.

    I liked this bit:

“Here’s a top-level forum—this is discussions.apple.com—if you read the fine print, it says it’s not moderated by Apple, it’s moderated by community members,”

REALLY?????? Someone should tell the Hosts that they are just users like us.... They don't really work for Apple. Who knew? (not that this person had any credibility to begin with - thanks for confirming, Dude)....

CCC and I have been shouting this from the rooftops to no avail. The users and contibutors are the Community. The hosts are at best hall monitors or mechanics working in the backgroud to keep the Forum opperating. At every step their first question should be "What do you need ?", then advocate on our behalves to the PTB.

Sure right, the day Honolulu freezes over.

My above statement assume the hosts are concerned about the well being of the Forum and it's members. I cannot help but think they see the Forum in a much different way then we do.

Rather than take YOUR word for it, I think I'll ( and everyone else you encounter here except newbies) listen to our good pal thomas-r - a REAL Expert

    From his article > http://www.thesafemac.com/how-to-uninstall-software/

    ...

Another myth involves the use of generic “uninstall” apps, such as AppZapper, AppCleaner, AppDelete and CleanMyMac (just to name a few). These are often recommended by “experts” on forums, seeming to lend them some credibility. However, these apps cannot reliably uninstall anything. They may be able to clean up a few unimportant leftovers – such as preference files – but they generally cannot properly remove more complex software. In fact, not only do they usually fail to remove enough, in some cases they can actually remove too much, damaging the basic functionality of other apps or even the system.

    ...

For your convenience, I'm gonna CC this post to your other thread where you may be compensated

Save yourself the trouble. If a person is spamming the Forum with products the host have said they'd rather you just report it. That way the person is also biught to their attention.
