The Return (enter) key on my 2016 Macbook (not Pro or Air) is sometimes unresponsive and appears to have not returned to the UP position.
Is it possible to remove the key to clean underneath? How?
I know this keyboard uses a different keypad system. What is other possible problem?
Do not remove the key.
Get a can of compressed air at any computer or hardware store.
Aim the plastic applicator just under and round the Return key.
Dust can cause keys to stick.

Interesting, wasn't aware that they had shipped yet. When did you buy it?
I have the same thing happening on the new macbook pro 2016, the fix is to use compressed air around the edges of the keys and to hold the keyboard at an angle so any debris will get dislodged and leave.
