I'm trying to record my Fender ios strat (link) with GarageBand on iphone.

However the GarageBand->Instrument->Amp only pick up sound from microphone.
It seems like the GarageBand doesn't recognize my guitar. Do I need to change any
settings? Or is it supposed to be plugged in and play?
The build-in audio interface is not the problem. Since I can record smoothly on Mac's Garageband.
The problem might be the cable. Since I lost the included "mini usb to lightning", I am using a "usb
to mini usb" adapter + "usb to lightning".
