Apr 22, 2016 9:29 PM in response to Allan Eckertby texaz56,No Allan Eckert, I did not mark it as the correct answer. I got an email and when I opened it to the whole question, it was already marked. I certainly would not have marked it correct.

Apr 22, 2016 9:36 PM in response to ChitlinsCCby texaz56,Hello Mr. Chitlins
I got an email saying I had a reply to my question. I clicked on the link to bring me back here to view it. And I'm not exactly sure about what you are asking, but I was using my PC, my browser is Chrome. The email was to Yahoo, and I was reading it here in the community. I hope that answers what you were asking.

Apr 22, 2016 9:38 PM in response to Allan Eckertby ChitlinsCC,I just reminded myself what ASC looks like on a phone.
In landscape orientation (simulated by eyeball on your post where "started" appears directly over "done that.") in FF PC browser it looks much like this...
Imagine using your thumbs to "scroll" that window - AND - how easy it would be to accidentally use one's left thumb to marks a solvie.
I will also eyeball the scale of my LG Android phone below
There's a bazzillion links all in the target area of my thumbs!!!

Apr 22, 2016 9:36 PM in response to texaz56by ChrisJ4203,While it could be a glitch in the forum software, Allan'a answer is correct. Only the person that starts the thread can mark a reply as Answered. I'll be more than happy to alert the hosts to your concerns and they may get in touch with you.

Apr 22, 2016 9:44 PM in response to texaz56by ChitlinsCC,Howdy texaz56
You answered my questions - and maybe you see from my reply to Allan where I was going - turns out your answer makes that theory moot.
What we believe happened is that you accidentally marked your question solved. Unfortunately, that marking cannot be undone, even by our gracious Hosts(moderators)
This is not uncommon, so don't worry about it.
Reply to your thread with a brief explanation of the error - mark THAT post of your own as helpful so it appears at the top near the wrongly marked solved one - and forget it.

Apr 22, 2016 9:46 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by ChitlinsCC,I am beginning to think that this buggy AppleJiveWare is capable of doing this deed. But it is not provable in any scenario I can think up

Apr 22, 2016 9:49 PM in response to texaz56by ChitlinsCC,I wish you had taken a series of screenshots that could serve as evidence of what you describe. As I said to Chris, I believe the software that runs this forum is capable of doing what you describe - it certainly misbehaves in demonstrable ways a LOT!!

Apr 23, 2016 3:11 PM in response to texaz56by texaz56,I appreciate all the speculation on this topic. I still stand by my original statement, but it doesn't matter anymore. I fixed the problem that I originally came to ask about myself. So, now all my Apple apps are back, my iPhone is back and I am able to sync with iTunes again. Other than the error message I get everytime I try to burn a cd from my iTunes play lists, all is good with the wicked Windows-10 (which is always a royal pain) and my Apple apps.
Thank you to everyone. I would like to close out this subject if I can. If not, could someone please do it?

Good to hear.
Threads aren't marked closed or locked in this system. You can mark your own post - where you say " I fixed the problem that I originally came to ask about myself. " as Solved to give some sort of closure

Apr 23, 2016 6:32 PM in response to Allan Eckertby ChitlinsCC,Lest we all forget as I did before... the topic here is the "mysterious marking of another post as SOLVED" - not this thread at all! Arrrgghh!
