If your iPhone is not ringing to alert you of an incoming call, and you've checked to make sure the ring/silent switch is set to ring, try these steps:
- Check your Do Not Disturb settings - if this setting has been turned on, then you won't be interrupted by phone calls. You'll need to turn if off.
Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Check your iPhone's speaker / hardware:
If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker
If you can't hear sound from the speaker, contact Apple Support.
- Check to see if your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode
If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- You unplug your headphones, but when you adjust volume on your iOS device, you still see a Headphones volume indicator.

Take care,
