I understand you'd like to know if your Messages on your MacBook Pro should appear on your iPad and iPhone. Is that what you want to happen? If so, you would need to be running OS X El Capitan and enable the Continuity Feature. I'll include some information below for you about Continuity just in case the information in your profile (Mac OS X 10.6.6) is incorrect.
Use Continuity to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac
Handoff
With Handoff, you can start a document, email, or message on one device and pick up where you left off from another device. Handoff works with Apple apps like Mail, Safari, Maps, Messages, Reminders, Calendar, Contacts, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. Some third-party apps are also compatible.
Set up Handoff
- Check that you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices.
- Turn on Bluetooth on all of your devices and connect them to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Make sure that your devices are near each other.
Use Handoff
- On one of your devices, open a compatible app, like Mail or Pages.
- Use the app to start a task, like writing an email or a document.
- Then you can switch to a different iOS device or Mac. If you switch to a Mac, you can press Command-Tab to pick up where you left off, or you can click the app icon in your Dock:
Take care,
