I have the file ".com_kaspersky_iswift_journal" in my root directory. I o not have Kaspersky installe anymore. the file has read and write access for root only. When I delete the file it reappears after re-boot.
does anyone know what causes the creation of the file .com_kaspersky_iswift_journal ?

I have tried to scan the file which continues to reappear after deletion and reboot "com_kaspersky_iswift_journal 12.09.50 AM" (the time changes to the reboot time of the yosemite Mac)
When I tried to scan the file via Virustotal https://www.virustotal.com/en/it would not scan the file it stopped at "computing hash"
Anti virus software is invasive and very difficult to uninstall.
Backup your important data then reformat (erase) the drive and reinstall Os X using OS X Recovery.
