Apple Pencil not connected since dead battery for long

Hi,

My Apple Pencil can't connect to my iPad Pro since the pencil has been dead battery for a week. I was not using and charging for a week.

I've been tried to reboot my iPad Pro and its bluetooh but no help. I have also left the Pencil to charge for few hours using USB charge then plug into iPad Pro to connect but it has no response.

Any advice? 😟

Thanks and Best regards.

I have the same problem here. My Apple Pencil connects and disconnect each 2 seconds. And battery goes from 3% to 100 and back to 3% again. No one at Apple helped me with that. It’s not a bad usage issue. It’s a product problem. I’m still waiting for Apple to solve this problem for me. Not simply throw my Apple Pencil away and buy a new one.

My pencil died 2 times after not being charged several days or even weeks.

What worked for me:

* charge the Pencil with the cable or a full iPad for about an hour

* kill all iPad Apps

* switch off Bluetooth

* switch off iPad, restart

* go to Setting, Bluetooth

* when you see your pencil as "not connected" choose it and "ignore this device"

* restart Bluetooth

* plug in the Pencil

I hope it does the same to you than it did to me.

You will be asked if you want to reconnect the Pencil.
