iSight camera disappearing

I have this problem since a long time ago. My iSight camera is disappearing and tells me its not available. I need to restart my computer in order to make it work again. It only works for a while and then its gona again. Can this be a conflict with a software I'm using?

I have OSX Captain latest update.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.4), 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7//8 GB

Yes, it is possible that third party (non-Apple) software on your Mac might cause conflicts.

The only way I know to find out requires a lot of work.

First, back up your Mac.

Then completely erase its start up disk.

Reinstall only OS X. Test your Mac their legacy is a problem is still there before adding any other applications for data files.
