Is Java update a Virus!?

I have software update window for a new version of Java (this one Java 8 update 91 build 14) that comes up every few weeks. Is this a virus?

(I have a Macbook Pro, running latest version of El Capitan.)

MacBook Pro (17-inch Early 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

No. There are no viruses for OS X. It's exactly what you describe it as — a software update window for Java. If you want it to go away, update Java.
