Q: daughter forgot her profile password login

My daughter forgot her password to login to her profile on our Mac. I just upgraded to Capitan, I am also the system admin. I have tried to reset her password but the system isn't recognizing the Master password. Perhaps I used a different one long time ago. How do I reset her profile/password. I'm not worried about losing information or stored data. She hasn't used the profile in years. Help!

You need to be logged into an Admin. account and use the Admin. password to change another Users Password.
