I understand that you're having trouble getting your apps to update, whether connected to Wi-Fi or your cellular data network. This may be due to your iPhone not being able to properly communicate with the iTunes Store servers. See the article linked below for steps that can help restore your ability to properly update your apps.

Apr 24, 2016 12:46 PM in response to MrCrazyBristolianby elcpu,Try a Forced Restart. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. You will not lose anything.
Then sign out of the iTunes Store and sign back in.

Apr 25, 2016 8:33 AM in response to borkeyjby elcpu,Since a forced restart did not help you may have to do a system restore.
First backup your device using iTunes. Then import your photos to your computer and copy all important data. Try restoring from backup first and testing it. If it does not help, you may have to restore as New and reconfigure from scratch as the backup could be corrupted. For this reason it is important to have your photos and data saved separately from the backup.
