I am getting this error on my windows 10 PC. Event 1000, Application Error. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi carevanbeth,

I understand you are seeing an error with the file APSDaemon.exe on your PC. Are you seeing this error when you launch the iTunes for Windows application? If so, you may need to update iTunes to resolve the issue. Here's how:


Get the latest version of iTunes


Windows

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. If the menu bar isn't showing, hold down the Control and B keys to show it. Learn more about the iTunes for Windows menu bar.
  3. From the menu bar, choose Help > Check for Updates.
  4. Follow the prompts to install the latest version.

If you are not prompted to install a new version of iTunes, you already have the latest version your operating system can support. Some features or devices may require a newer version of iTunes than your system supports. See the System Requirements on the iTunes download page.
