Cannot remove airplane mode

EVen when I turn off Airplane Mode on my phone, it remains on on my watch. Mirroring my iphone doesn't really

work, nor does turning it off manually. This is crucial, so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, pah

Hi Peter

It is possible for turning on Airplane Mode to be mirrored between devices, but the same does not apply for turning off Airplane Mode, which must be done separately on each.

To change the setting for mirroring the turning on of Airplane Mode:

- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Airplane Mode - enable or disable Mirror iPhone, as preferred.

When your watch is in Airplane Mode, it has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi disabled, so there is no way for it to receive any further instructions from your iPhone (including an instruction to exit Airplane Mode if and when the mode is turned off on your iPhone).

To turn off Airplane Mode on your watch:

- When viewing the time on your watch, swipe up from the bottom edge of the watch face > swipe left/right to the Settings glance > tap on the Airplane Mode button to turn the mode off > swipe down on the screen again to exit Glances.
