ProRes decoder for Win10 without QuickTime?

Is there a way to get an Apple ProRes codec without installing Quicktime? The Apple ProRes QuickTime Decoder for Windows ( https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2?locale=en_US ) won't install without QuickTime.

I am using Windows 10 on x64. I can successfully install the QuickTime Player and the Decoder, but I know the QuickTime player isn't fully supported, and I imagine a day that it will no longer run. What will my options be?
