Volume content void

My Mac mini started to freeze one week ago. As it was freezin I apply a forced shutdown.

It never went back. The progress bar with the apple logo take an eternity to load, and it jam at the end.

I Zappep the pram, and reboot in verbose mode but it jam at pci pause: sdxc.

I Reboot in single user mode, and did the fsck -fy

DIsk appear to be ok but the result is for OSX Base System.

Also no volume appear when booting in recovery mode !

ANd I browse in terminal inside Macintosh user volume and it's empty.

Anyone got a hint ?

I Just have the impression that is a mapping problem.

How come the OS X Base system is untouch ans the main partition's been wipe !?

OK I don't know how I got to this point but when running diskutil cs list I get 114.7 KB of free space on my internal drive.

ANd it feels good to talk to the net in another way that I'm used too via Facebook.

IT's much of a monologue, but I enjoy it

i Cannot see my disk with fsck, diskutility, startup disk, internet recovery, but I have difficulty to admit that my disk is totally dead since I can log into the recovery partition.

DOen anyone know how recovery partition work .?

The Recovery partition is just a bootable partition on a disk. When you boot to Recovery (Command + R) it will first try to boot from the Recovery partition. If that does not work then it boots to Internet Recovery if the computer has that.
