You may be able to get support help, and make a new AppleID or
password; some users with two AppleIDs consolidated to one.
There is a link within the article that should allow you to contact
iTunes or Apple support regarding password issues.
Some users only have one AppleID and a password; usually an
email address. Then, there is a newer 'two-step' or 'three-step'
authorization that involves needing to save that information...
Hopefully you can contact someone in Apple, or check associated
Support articles for AppleID, iTunes, App Store, etc as it can relate.
Unfortunately, the addition of iDevices and Family sharing, etc can
create a new layer of issues. I've not used most of those so far.
