Q: Cannot pair ipad2 with iWorld Bluetooth wireless speaker but iphone6 can be paired?

Is there a reason that my ipad2 won't pair with iWorld Bluetooth speaker but my iphone6 does?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8), Macbook and ipad2 wi-fi connection
