Q: issue with RODE NT USB driver in mac os

Hi there,

my son bought 4 months ago a USB microphone from RODE (NT USB) which worked perfectly well until end of march 16'.

Now the microphone is not yet recognized as RODE NT USB but USB PnP microphone as indicated in the preferences box (Sound).

The recording is poor and we can't use it anymore.

RODE relinks to the selling company which says we should reboot the mic but don't know how and RODE doesn't anything about that...never ending circle.

 

So it came to my mind that maybe the Mac OS would not be update regarding this mic..does it make sense ? However I try on other mac with Yosemite as well and change USB cable at the same time and the result was the same.

Do you have any experience of such peripheral issues ?
