Hi Kilgore. It`s Okay. But Apple must coordinated with Companies to say that everything that could be use with Apple must have all requirements

to be als easy useful on Mac products. That will Help Apple and Other Companies. Easy or not

Apple doesn't need to "coordinate" anything. Standards for OS X and iOS for peripherals have already been published. It is up to those third party companies to build them to those standards and prove the apps or drivers needed to use them. If you have an issue with this, its is with the manufacturer of those peripherals, not Apple.
