Q: Apple nylon watch band
I received a 38mm Apple Sport Watch as a gift. I went to the local Apple store yesterday and asked to see the nylon bands. I was shown a band that was Gold/Red in color with a gold buckle (my watch is gold aluminum). I wanted to purchase that watch band and I was advised that that particular color band and buckle are only available at time of purchase (of the watch). The Gold/Red band that is available in the store and online has a silver buckle.
I am not understanding why that band cannot be purchased after the fact. If you have the option of buying a watch with that color band, why can't that band be purchased at a later date? As I mentioned earlier, this watch was a gift so I had no option to buy a particular band.
