How do you transfer an iPhoto album from a mac book pro to another mac and keep all the added name info. I have tried air drop and flash drive. Moving the photos over is no problem but the added name info does not always transfer. The original img # transfers instead. iPhoto version 9.5.1

To keeps albums you have to transfer the entire library - they do not exist separate form the library - you can export the photos including desired metadata and import in another Mac

As Larry said copy the entire iPhoto Library package to the other Mac.
However, if you would prefer to export your photos to folders with the Title as the file name, keep the metadata with the file then export via the File ➙ Export X Photos.... menu option with these settings:
and copy those folders to the other Mac.
