Can I retrieve old PURCHASED media from a forgotten Apple ID?

Basically, back during my first year of college (before I realized that my entire dorm was on 1 massive network so music/file sharing was unreallllllistically easy and quick), sometime around 2006/2007, I spent several hundred greenbacks on random crap, of which I really don't remember much of what all comprises the material other than a few documentaries, (Blue Planet and Planet Earth I believe) and a good amount of music/movies. But just wanted to know, IF I could somehow manage to find out what that old apple ID was, or if there is any way for Apple to manually search the iTunes Store purchase receipts, which I'm sure they keep records of ALL of everyone's purchases.... I would hope, and maybe restore that previously purchased stuff on to my new iPhone 6S and version 12.3.3 of iTunes running on Win 7.

All of the previously purchased material would have also been using a Windows operating system as well. Probably either Win2000 or WinXP.. probably XP though.

Just would like to get all of that back somehow... also be interesting to see wth i was gettin in to back in tha good ol' days lol.

Oh and also, I am willing to accept the fact that this data is gone or otherwise irretrievable and do so with a genuinely good attitude and no ill tasting, pointlessly vulgar email/letter of complaint! Promise

Limnos many thanks for the timely response. I did actually figure out my apple ID from way back then by entering any old email addresses I could remember but now am running into the issue of password reset.

I do not have access to the email account that the old Apple ID is registered under. Well, it no longer exists actually. So that is a dead end. I cannot reset the password through that email. I also do not know the answer to my security questions, go figure. I can't even get past the first question!

Any advice on how to proceed from this point?
