Disabled iPad 2 and Apple ID

Hi everyone,

Good day.

Just wanna ask if there's a way or chance that Apple Support will give info (phone number, Facebook, etc.) about the device's previous owner.

My relative bought a second hand iPad 2 five years ago.

Just a week ago, she disabled her iPad and we tried to restore it.

After restoring, the iPad is prompting apple ID and password. She told me that she can't remember the ID and password anymore.

Also, she told me that she can't contact the previous owner anymore.

Appreciate your help on this.

No. Apple won't provide with such information.

You need to contact the seller and ask him to remove this iPhone from his list of devices. Otherwise, your iPhone will be a useless brick.

It is not iPhone, it's iPad.

Anyway, the problem is that we cannot contact the previous owner A.K.A. seller.

My relative don't know his/her contact number. As I mentioned in my first post, our device is 5 years old already.

We just encountered the problem now.

Would you mind to help us to use the iPad again?
