Q: Erase iPhone

I recently purchased a new IPhone and gave my old 5S to my husband. we had it set up with a new ATT number. I want to erase all my data and restore his iCloud info. Will anything happen to the phone number or will it still work?

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.1

Nothing will happen to the phone number - those details are housed in the SIM card and of course the iCloud account that you are removing from the phone
