How big should be a Windows 10 ISO file?

While trying to download from Microsoft... I am about to reinstall Win-10 on my Macbook Pro 13" (early '15) using Boot Camp.

I know of two versions, 4.4 GB and the other is 7.9 GB (roughly).

I am asking because last time I did this, the 7.9 downloaded, this time, the 4.4 is downloading as we speak.

Any ideas about what I need or what is the difference?

Thanks.

Thank you for that input, I was using the Assistant but partitioned only 32GB. BTW, the installation did not work, the assistant finished its work, rebooted to windows installation and the process could not be completed due to: The partitioned drive should be formatted to NTFS.

I tend to suspect the ISO file.

But I don't really know...

I just downloaded the ISO again, 4.41GB file.

The process on the 'Assistant' is quite long (30-40-50 minutes) before it reboots to Windows installation.

After about 3-4 dialog boxes, one comes up specifying the 'Drives', about four-five of them (in total size of the predefined 32GB - which is as you say are insufficient) and a warning, in rough words: "the installation could not be done because the drive is not formatted to NTFS"

I will try again now with the new/fresh ISO file and 50GB of space.
