AppleTV Local Library Search

With thousands of titles in my iTunes library, I find it frustrating having to scroll through everything to find a specific title on the ATV. Is apple planning on adding a local library search? If not, can we at least expect to get some more sorting options? Like recently added! I have been using smart playlists and this is better, but its still not at the top level menu selection area.
