how to claim compensation from apple
hi my ipad 2 had the password typed in wrong too many times and what should have been a simple plug in to iTunes problem was a issue. first after spending sevral hours on the phone to apple I was told to take it in to a apple store. (there is no apple store near me nearest one is 1 hour away) so I booked an appointment same day as going to London with some mates thinking we could quickly pop in to the apple store and get it fixed. so I turned up on time for the appointment to be told there was a small delay. so I though ok it wount be too long god I was wrong after waiting nearly 1.30 mins one person came over to me plugged it in to a mac then was never seen again 30 mins later another person comes over tells me its broken and that £200 for a new one which I refused so I went home and phone apple support to claim on warranty and that's another 2-3 hours on the phone so I get someone else to take in to the same apple store and its fixed within 10 mins of going in to the store. I then phone up apple to complain and nothing happenes.
now this happened under a year ago but is starting to annoy me again for not trying to get compensation from them
what are peoples views on if I tried would I get compensation for the hours spent on the phone and in store or will I be told to sod off
and if I will get compensation how do I go about it
