Mail automatically transferring from Inbox to Trash

Sometime in the last week or so, perhaps after the last upgrade to 9.3.1 on my iPhone 6+, every time I move an email on my iPhone from the Inbox to Trash, when I open up my MacBook Air later in the day, all of the mail that I trashed on my iPhone, has been trashed on my MacBook. I never activated any changes manually and I can't find where to undo this "sync" feature. I suspect this is either a Mail Preferences or iCloud Preferences issue.

Yes, that's an automatic function of any IMAP eMail client, to sync all devices to the same state… especially iCloud. 🙂

No idea why it didn't before, unless it just wasn't working right before 9.3.1, though I do here about 9.3.1 redoing lots of prefs.
