Apr 25, 2016 9:02 AM in response to JimmyCMPITby Patrick Lafferty,I downloaded the .mp4 file from that link, and, yes, it played fine.
But I'm unclear how to fix the embedded mp4 file in my wordpress post.
Thanks, nonetheless.

Mac App StoreFWIW, audio is fine in Chrome and Firefox. Doesn't play in Safari, Fluid or Opera. No idea why.

(btw this is made with Blender, which works for mac and it's free and since I use it, I plug it, and all I can tell you it's amazing free software.)
possibly try re-encoding it or re-saving if you have some other software that will re-save as MP4. It could be whatever you used to create that slideshow does not make a MP4 that Safari likes.
FWIW if the file is being linked from an external service that can cause problems too.
