Apr 25, 2016 8:56 AM in response to Mg Mg MMby elcpu,The iPhone 6 Plus and the 6s Plus are able to change the Home Screen orientation. I am not sure about the iPhone SE but given that the 5 and the 5s do not rotate on the Home screen the SE may not as well. See this article:

Apr 25, 2016 8:58 AM in response to Mg Mg MMby Phil0124,The iPhone SE does not support the Home screen rotation. That is only a feature of the iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus that have the larger 5.5" screens.
On an iPhone SE, screen rotation is limited to within Apps that support it, such as Safari, or the Mail App for example.
As far as Gestures go, you can program certain motions to be activated with a single tap, to do things
For instance if you have trouble swiping left, you can create a gesture that swipes left, to move through the home screens, and that can be activated by tapping on a single button, instead of actually having to swipe.
Its basically a way to have shortcuts to existing actions that cause things to happen on the iPhone.
