Some changes were made in the system, so, while you may have been able to share an individual Apple ID in the past, that workaround no longer works very well. Each of you should have your own. You can then share things through Family Sharing.

Apr 25, 2016 10:46 AM in response to bacb1006by elcpu,Apple IDs are like driver's licenses, not supposed to be shared. As Meg and Brian pointed out you can use Family Sharing. You would not have to pay for songs or apps again. This article may help.
