Q: Itunes Doesn't Recognize My Episode As Being Published

I just set up a new podcast feed and published my first episode, which is hosted by blubrry and published via the powerpress wordpress plugin.

Here is the episode on my blog: http://renaissancehumans.com/dr-alan-goldhammer-fasting-safely/

Here is the feed url: http://renaissancehumans.com/feed/podcast/

The problem is that when I try to publish to Itunes, it recognizes the podcast, gets the description and artwork, etc, but then says that no episodes are published.

Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong? Let me know if you need more info. Thanks!

Your feed has serious problems. Firstly, when I click on the URL it forces a download instead of appearing in my default RSS reader; this is something you need to sort out on the server.

Even so, it's not a podcast feed. It has no 'enclosure' tags containing the URLs of your media files, as required by iTunes. Indeed you don't even have an 'item' tag, so there are no actual episodes there, only the header section.

Blubrry have a forum at http://forum.blubrry.com and you may do well to ask there if you can't see why your episode hasn't made it into the feed.
