Software upgrade - redeem code???

Having to upgrade as only 10.6.8 - got mountain lion os x ive been sent a code to redeem and it tells me:

to install the software you have to launch the Mac App Store, click redeem under quick links & enter the code

Im probably missing the obvious, but i cannot see anywhere that give the redeem option??

can anyone sign post me in the write direction?
