How do I create a new system administrator?
I am trying to add a WiFi card to my computer but do not know my administrator name or password. Can this be changed?

Potentially yes, but you would need to know the Administrator name. You will also need to access the Mac in OS X Single User Mode to do so.
Then, you would need to enter the following commands, in sequence:
(Caveat: If you don't know what any of these commands do, you could potentially make your Mac unaccessible if entered incorrectly.)
- fsck -fy
- mount -uw /
- launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.opendirectoryd.plist
- passwd username
- reboot
