Installed Linksys WRT1200AC router. Wifi cuts out frequently in the middle of video streaming.

During video streaming, wifi connection cuts out for a fraction of a second then reconnects, stopping the streaming.

Running OS X 10.11.4. Installed Linksys WRT1200AC router. Using 2.4 GHz band. Regenerated Wifi preference files as suggested by "Fixing Wi-Fi Issues in OS X El Capitan" form OS X Daily. No change. No fix available from Linksys.
