{Score Editor} Why does a music note appear multiple times when the key was only pressed once? (Image)

So for example, the RED circled notes aren't struck at that point, so why do they show up after the GREEN circled notes, which are hit. Does it have to do with the length of the MIDI note or the sustain? (I have the sustain pedal held for the entirety of the song)


Note, I'm severely new to anything about music sheets, so I apologize if this is both obvious and a really simple fix. Thanks for the help!

It has to do with the length of the midi note. make sure you play to a click track (turn the metronome on) and slow it down a bit if needed (tempo).

Also turn on syncopation to eliminate some of the ties and depending on your needs... set the display quantize to a lower value such as 8. You should set you display quantize to the smallest value you are going to play ( if its 8th notes - then 8, quarter notes - then 4 - sixteenth notes 16 etc).
