SSD cable choice other than OWC or iFixit?

Hello everybody! 🙂

I would like to add a SSD drive to my late 2012 MacMini.

The Internet is full of recommendations for OWC and iFixit products.

But these are US based companies and the shipping is too complicated and expensive to my part of the world.

The much easier and affordable way would be to order a similar kit from some Chinese seller on AliExpress or eBay.

Does anybody here have any experience with SSD cables other than those from OWC or iFixit?

If yes, what was the fit and finish of the cables?

Are they reliable and of decent quality, since I would not like to loose data and get corrupted files because of poorly manufactured cable.

Do you have some other recommendation?

My Mini is model 6.2 with Core i7 2.3 GHz CPU,

the 1TB HDD is located in the lower bay.

That appears to be the correct SATA cable for adding a second drive into a Late 2012 Mac Mini.

If you Google Search: 922-9560 sata cableyou will surly find more.

I know that this would be the correct cable.

I'm just not sure if it is of a good quality?

There are some cables made in China that are crap,

but since our beloved Minis are also manufactured in China,

there must be some Chinese made SSD cables that are OK as well.

I doubt that OWC and iFixit are manufacturing their own cables. 🙂

The question was, has anybody here successfully used other cable than OWC or iFixit,

that is available from some store based in Europe, or from China?

I have had no such problems with the ones from OWC, perhaps you would be better off spending a little more and living with the shipping inconvenience.
