How do I Remove Slick Savings virus from laptop?
Does anybody know how to remove "Slick Savings" virus from my laptop? It keeps popping up whenever I try to buy something online. I have a Mac Book Pro laptop OSX.

Is there any risk in doing this? Do I need to back up files first?
It's not a virus. It's a malicious Safari extension, and should be removed in the Extensions pane of the Safari preferences window.
Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use those. Never install any extension with the words "Spigot," "Conduit," "Genieo," or "Trovi" in the description.
