Q: Apple FORCES ID CHANGE, can't access apps or iTunes on iPhone
A few days ago APPLE told me I had to access my ID (THAT I'd HAD FOR 20yesrs) was "not acceptable or valid".
They forced me to use an e-mail address. And my NORMAL email address that had my ID as part of it's name wasn't acceptable either.
SO i gave an emali address to go into my ID ONLY TO FIND THAT"S NOW MY "NEW ID" - except IT DOESN'T WORK ON my iPhone 5s (still uses the OLD ID) so I can update and add apps!
HOW TO FIX THIS?
FWIW I tried signing in using my iCloud ID but no Joy there either.
HOW DO I ENTER the New (Changed) Apple ID?
My phone is running IOS 8.3 - I'm HAPPY with that and don't wish to update.
iPhone 5s, iOS 8, 64GB
