I used to have my phone number connected to my Messages, but removed it.  Now my phone is broken, how can i re-add my phone number to Messages without the use of my phone? Also, will this retrieve messages that were sent to my phone while was broken?

    Hi Eric,

Does that work in anything but OS X 10.8.x  (i.e. Messages 7.x)

As it is an iPhone 6 (was) I think that a later OS for the Mac is possible.
