I accidentally removed my Macbook Pro from iCloud device list.

I had to make all my devices agree with my new email address applied to iCloud/Apple ID but unfortunately, in a bout of frustration in trying to make iMessage sync correctly - I removed the device from the list. Now, I want to add it back in and cannot seem to find any way to do that. There doesn't seem to be any prompt for Edit or Add.....Can anyone help?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), iOS 9.3.1, Yosemite 10.3

Hi,

The Learn More (Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in - Apple Support) seems to suggest just logging in on a Mac in Yosemite and El Capitan will get the device listed. (it also says earlier versions will not be listed).
